Immersive Learning Course
Fall 2018 | Junior
Rehabilitating Houses is an immersive learning course of mixed majors (interior design, architecture, and construction management) that works with a representative of Urban Light to create plans for decrepit homes in Muncie, IN.
This project was a group contribution consisting of three interior design students, two construction management, and one architecture student all at the junior level.
Kitchen Design
Spring 2018 | Sophomore
Every year, the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) hosts a student design competition. For this
project, the NKBA has partnered with Habitat for Humanity to create kitchen plans for the home. The main goal for this kitchen design is to create a functional, budget conscious, and aesthetically pleasing space to cook and entertain guests.
Restaurant Design
Spring 2019 | Junior
The Pipeline is a one-of-a-kind specialty restaurant that delivers and shakes its entrées and drinks through a pneumatic tube delivery system, similar to the drive-thru bank systems. Menu items include pipe-shaken salads, pastas, and specialty drinks for adults and children.
